Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using DoodlePlot ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The App is operated by GlucoPlate Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. The App is intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. What DoodlePlot does

DoodlePlot is a creative drawing aid. It overlays a chosen picture on your device's live camera view so a child can trace it onto paper, and it offers guided drawing lessons and template packs. It is a tool for fun and learning, not an educational guarantee or a substitute for adult supervision.

3. For parents & guardians

The App is designed for children with parental involvement. By allowing a child to use the App, you agree to supervise their use, to be responsible for any purchases made through your store account, and to manage device-level controls (such as Screen Time or Family Link). Purchases and any links that leave the App are placed behind a parental gate.

4. Camera & safe use

Tracing works best with the phone propped securely above paper on a stand. Please make sure the setup is stable and that young children are supervised. Do not use the App while walking or in any situation where attention to surroundings is required.

5. Purchases & subscriptions

The App is free to start. Optional purchases unlock additional packs, lessons, and features. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions are handled by the stores and our provider, RevenueCat.

6. Your child's creations

Drawings and creations made with the App belong to you and your child. We claim no ownership of them. Template artwork, lessons, app design, and branding remain the property of GlucoPlate Inc. and its licensors and may not be redistributed.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's template content.
• Do not attempt to bypass parental gates, purchase controls, or security measures.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlucoPlate Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLUCOPLATE INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES arising out of or related to your use of the App, including any device damage, loss of data, or disputes arising from use of the App.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada.
