Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

DoodlePlot ("the App") is operated by GlucoPlate Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada ("we", "us"). DoodlePlot is a drawing app made for children and families. We are committed to protecting children's privacy in line with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Canada's PIPEDA, and Alberta's PIPA.

2. Our local-first, account-less design

DoodlePlot does not require an account and does not ask for a name, email, or password to draw. Your child's drawings, progress, favorites, and settings are stored on the device only. We do not have a copy of them on our servers.

3. Information we do NOT collect

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers from children
• Precise location or GPS data
• Contacts, photos library contents, or microphone audio (beyond the live camera view used for tracing, which is never recorded)
• Advertising identifiers or cross-app behavioral tracking
• Persistent identifiers used to build a profile of a child

4. The camera

Tracing uses your device's camera to show a live view of the paper underneath, with the chosen picture laid over it. This live view is shown on screen only — it is not recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere.

5. Turning a photo into an outline

If you choose to turn one of your own photos into a traceable outline, that conversion happens on the device wherever possible. Where an optional cloud feature (such as AI-generated custom templates) is used, it is placed behind a parental gate, the request is limited to what is needed to create the artwork, and images are processed transiently and not stored by us. We will clearly describe any such feature before it is used.

6. Purchases

Optional subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play and our subscription provider, RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details. Purchases are guarded by a parental gate and the store's own purchase controls. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous identifier used only to keep track of whether a subscription is active; it is not linked to your child's identity.

7. Analytics

If we use analytics, we use only privacy-preserving, aggregate measurements that do not identify a child. We do not use advertising SDKs or behavioral tracking.

8. Ads

DoodlePlot is ad-free. We do not show third-party ads and do not use third-party advertising or behavioral-ad networks. If we ever mention one of our own apps, it would appear behind a parental gate and would not involve any third-party ad SDK or tracking.

9. Parental rights & contact

Because we do not collect personal information from children, there is generally nothing for us to look up or delete on our servers — clearing the app or deleting it removes the on-device data. If you have any question or concern about your child's privacy, contact us any time at privacy@doodleplot.com and we will respond promptly.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the App evolves (for example, if optional accounts for cross-device sync are added in the future, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what that involves and to keep any such features parent-controlled). Changes are posted here with a new date.
